(Recorded March 26, 2021)
Training Description: As child welfare and juvenile justice professionals, we develop policy/procedures and make decisions about system improvements, all of which affect the youth and families you served; however, these policies and decisions are often made without the input of people who have to navigate the systems we create. This can be especially true for youth and families impacted by the current opioid crisis. This webinar will highlight several strategies to engage and work with people with lived experiences to include their voices to improve the operations of child welfare and juvenile justice systems.
