Training Description: During this training, faculty will address a law clerk’s ethical obligations; provide an overview of how a case progresses through the appellate courts; learn advanced techniques and tips for crafting dispositions; and discuss available resources. There will also be time for questions, so come prepared to discuss challenges you are currently facing in writing a bench memo and/or disposition.

This course is designed for all new Nevada Appellate Court law clerks; however, other court staff are invited to attend as well.

Continuing Education Credit: 2.0 CLE (includes .5 Ethics credit) (Certificate of Attendance required to receive continuing legal/judicial education credit). NOTE: CLE credit for this course is approved through December 31, 2023 and will then be stale dated.
