The Continuous Learning Program (CLP) is designed to support Nevada’s court staff in developing knowledge, skills, and abilities to excel in their roles. Participation in the CLP is flexible: courses are open to all roles and individuals may choose topics that align with their responsibilities, professional goals, or personal interests.

This course provides an overview of digital accessibility and why it matters in government services. Participants will learn what web accessibility is, review applicable federal accessibility laws, and understand key compliance timelines and expectations.

Knowing what needs to be accessible is the first step toward true digital inclusion. This course helps you understand which materials such as webpages, forms, PDFs, videos, and more must meet ADA Title II accessibility standards.

Court staff manage demanding workloads that require speed, accuracy, and consistency in a busy courtroom environment. This course introduces InCourt, an enhanced application within CourtView that supports efficient case processing by simplifying how information is entered and managed.

This course provides an introduction of judicial financial management, focusing on budgeting, financial accountability, resource allocation, and legal compliance in the judicial context.

This training covers the key differences between providing legal information and legal advice for Nevada court staff, ensuring ethical compliance and impartiality. We’ll also review Supreme Court of Nevada Rule 44, guiding support for self-represented litigants while staying within professional boundaries.
